Formal kids’ skiing is cancelled this week due to the New England J2 Festival and Junior Olympics. You are free to ski on your own. There is still plenty of snow so we will ski next week and plan on food and refreshments after.
Groomed the Greenbelt and the Gameclub this am and it should be some great spring skiing today. Get out an enjoy while you can as the Greenbelt is getting thin in some areas and grooming from here on out will be limited. Fresh tracks were put in early this morning and will hold through mid-day. The Gameclub provides good skiing out and back on the powerline. The loggers have taken away a significant amount of skiing but new tracks have been set out to the powerline as well as combed for skating. That skiing is - accessible by parking in the lower lot and following the trail up and over the bank to the left of the skeet range hut.
Everything combed and tracked this morning. Once it firms up, it may be the best skiing of the season. The classic skiing at both the Gameclub and the Greenbelt should be excellent!
Greenbelt and Gameclub groomed and tracked this am. It is not the best snow but enough to freshen everything up a bit and good snow for re-establishing a base. There is heavy snow forecasted for the next two days. I will try to keep up with it as best as I can but expect soft skiing for a bit. Be aware of logging equipment beginning Friday.
Chewed up the ice as best as I could this morning at the Game Club. The skating there should be pretty good. Use caution as there are still some slick spots where you cannot get any bite with your skis. I am not able to get a classic track in at this time. The Greenbelt is very hard and I cannot get through the ice with the groomer that we have. That will not be in good shape until we get more snow on top.

Fresh tracks on the Greenbelt and the Gameclub is groomed for both skating and classic. Everything is in great shape although there are a few spots that are still soft. Skiing should be excellent.

Tracks set on the Greenbelt and the Game Club is groomed for skating BUT…it is very soft and will probably fill in quickly the way this snow is coming down. I will try to get back there as soon as I can.
